Create a folder on your hard drive for your shape files. A good way to stay organized
is to make a folder called MyShapes and make sub folders under that using the name of
the shapes, such as Geometrics. This makes it easy to delete those you no longer need.
Unzip your downloaded file into the new sub folder. You will see a number of .ufo files
and one .uol file.
- Open the Easy Palette
- Right-click on the Objects Library - select Import on the pop-up menu.
- In the Import window, navigate to the new sub folder you created in your files area.
Find the .uol file (you will not see the .ufo files - but they are there).
The default import options are Open as a new gallery and Merge Type = Merge group by group. You can leave these as they are or change them to suit yourself.
- Click on the .uol file, click Open.
Your newly imported shapes will show up in the Easy Palette - ready to be used.
Note: You may want to create your own Shapes Gallery in PI before you import the new shapes.
