Importing Presets
Create a folder on your hard drive for your presets. A good way to stay organized is to make a folder called MyPresets and make sub folders under that using the name of the preset, such as Gradients. This makes it easy to delete those you no longer need. Unzip your downloaded file into the new sub folder. You will see a number of .jpg files and one .smp file.
  1. Open the Easy Palette

  2. Right-click on the Materials Gallery - select Import on the pop-up menu.

  3. In the Import window, navigate to the new sub folder you created in your files area. Find the .smp file (you will not see the .jpg files - but they are there).
The default import options are Open as a new gallery and Merge Type = Merge group by group. You can leave these as they are or change them to suit yourself.

  4. Click on the .smp file, click Open.

Your newly imported presets will show up in the Easy Palette - ready to be used.

Note: You may want to create your own Materials Gallery in PI before you import the presets.
